Where?
Sijunjung is located to the North East of Padang, South of Bukittinggi.
Why Visit?
Sijunjung offers adventure, from river rafting to caving, trekking to swimming under waterfalls, all in beautiful surroundings.
How to get there?
The bus from Sawahlunto, Solok or Batusangkar takes approximately 1 hour. Buses are also available from Indah Rung in Padang, and take about two and a half to three hours.
Where to Stay?
The capital of Sijunjung is Muaro, guesthouses are available and from here there is easy access to all of the attractions in the district.
Where next?
Why not head to Solok for a relaxed wander through the tea fields, or to Batusangkar to see Pagaruyung palace? – both about an hour away from Sijunjung.
